Tulisa's heavy metal style: Herve Leger dress worn by The X Factor judge weighs more than a stone

If the weight of expectation is heavy on the shoulders of new X Factor judge Tulisa, it would be nothing compared with one of the dresses she wore on the show, which tipped the scales at a hefty 1st 3lb (7.75kg).

It was a black, floor-length Herve Leger bandage number with silver chains sewn in to provide a womanly hour-glass shape.

The label has long been loved by celebrities — including Elle Macpherson, Cheryl Cole and Elizabeth Hurley — due to the way the frocks cling to curves and pull any more ‘fleshy’ parts up and in.
